The first edition I made of these flew all over Austin on friend’s doorsteps and in alleyways and high on telephone poles. It was something I felt like I needed to do to cope with everything.

This is a reprint in a similarly overwhelming time. The original print featured owls but I lost the owl block, probably when we moved the print shop, so I carved a dove which I think like be a more ‘morningish’ bird anyways.
